The highest-acidity Cabernet Sauvignon in the Amici single-vineyard lineup, the 2017 Oakville Ranch is mineral-driven with lovely dark cherry and vanilla bean notes along with bakers chocolate and crme de cassis. Plum, blood orange and dried herbs through the palate evolve into black cherry, wild thyme and hints of iron ore. Distinctly age-worthy with powerful, silky tannins, the wine finishes long and earthy.
